Angel Making Machines
|
The artist has been producing ‘angel-making machines’ since 1991, which recur in various forms and combinations. Consisting of glass bottles, water, yeast, sugar and feathers, they are usually presented on low marble plinths. When ‘working’ they last for one month. Some have air-locks used in the brewing process, others have various restrictive outlets; a balloon, an optic, a coiled tube, a coin, etc.
