In Memory of Marijke De Roover (1990 - 2026)
We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of the promising and highly talented artist Marijke De Roover, who passed away in a tragic accident on Saturday, 25 July, just one week before the opening of UNI.

Inspired by the nymphs from Ovid’s *Metamorphoses*, who are constantly changing form as a result of the harm inflicted upon them by the gods, the film tells the story of a group of people searching for ways to exist in a world that can sometimes be harsh. Van Aerde films her own surroundings and captures friends, artists and other passers-by on camera as they talk about themselves. We see various inner portraits unfold.
